CV
Lai Ping So is a Visual Artist, Designer and Art Educator based in Düsseldorf, Germany. She studied Intermedia from the Hochschule Mainz, Visual Arts from the Academy of Visual Arts HKBU and developed to expand her practice in text and art. In her artist books flo-o-o (2023) and dok dat dap dap (2021), she used visual signs, onomatopoeia and sense of touch to reimagine sounds. Her creative studio mmmmor︎︎︎ in Düsseldorf specializes on the development of complex communication systems, printed matters, corporate design and digital media. Since 2020, So has been lecturing Experimental Design, Book Design and Bookbinding in different educational institutes in Germany.
