This artist book explores the many sounds of rain through a cross-sensory approach. Drawing from 23 recordings taken from 17 pop-culture films, the artists trace variations in rhythm, tone, and atmosphere to translate these auditory textures into a language of sight and touch, using visual signs, onomatopoeia, and tactile forms. The work seeks to connect three communities—the visually impaired, the hearing impaired, and those who experience the world through different balances of the senses—by reflecting on how each perceives and reads through distinct sensory worlds.
