Inspired by the Siraya language found in the Sinkang Manuscripts, I drew from pronouns such as “you,” “we,” and “they” in the original texts to construct two rewritten dialogues, resulting in two books titled nini (“they” in Siraya) and imomiang (“you,” plural in Siraya). The books combine a romanticized form of Siraya with Chinese and English text.
