This work takes an open-ended approach, using six field recordings made at water-centric locations in Hong Kong as creative references. Observing qualities such as speed, duration, loudness, distance, and rhythm, it translates these auditory impressions into unconventional visual and tactile forms. By doing so, the work explores how sound can be perceived through different senses and seeks to create common ground among the visually impaired, the hearing impaired, and those who experience sound through conventional auditory means.
