This visual poetry reflects the sounds of rain along the Rhine. Audio recordings made in Düsseldorf and Cologne document the river's flow, while rain captured at various sites on wet days becomes a source of creative reference. Attentive to the acoustics of speed, duration, volume, distance, and rhythm, the work translates these auditory impressions into visual and tactile gestures. It explores how language and image can evoke what lies beyond words, and how sound may surface through other senses.
